Catherine’s images are interpretive, she moves a photo beyond the simple capture. She manipulates, collages, draws and layers the image, engaging with the process, following a path of discovery to the end result. She works spontaneously, often on an IPad, with images and graphics collected from mundane circumstances (the ephemera of her life), most often with her phone. She intends for these images to speak to the viewer about their individual response to today's world.
